Faith Over Fear

Today many are concerned about the outcome of this important election. Needless to say, we need to be concerned. Yet our concern must not be driven by the spirit of fear. Fear is not of God and we must place our trust in the Creator of heaven and earth. He holds all things in His hand. When faith exist over fear, we place this election in the hands of God and trust that He knows what is needed in this hour. Although our flesh has those times that we call a melt down, we must not give into the flesh. For believers are to walk by faith and not by sight. We are also told, “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27b)
2 Peter 1:16-19: “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:”
What seems uncertain to us, God is Immutable, Omniscience, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, gracious and merciful. As the song says, “Many things about tomorrow I don’t seem to understand, but I know who holds tomorrow and I know who holds my hand.”
I encourage you, you that have not voted, to seek the Lord and to vote according to the biblical principles established by the Almighty. GOD Bless and May the LORD be exalted in Our STAND for JESUS!
